MusiCares® helps and supports music people with financial, medical, and personal emergencies. This year, we have been on Twitter talking about the Be A Part of the Heart campaign and our important work of providing services and resources to music people in need.
Spread the Word, One Tweet at a Time
We are asking for your help with a fun Twitter contest! All you have to do is re-tweet the most recent MusiCares® tweet that has the hash tag #win in it.
So first you have to follow MusiCares® on Twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/MusiCares. Then, look on our stream for the most recent tweet with #win in it.
This is the important part: make sure that “RT @MusiCares” is in YOUR RE-TWEET. You can RT from another person’s stream, but the RT @MusiCares is how we are going to be able to count the re-tweets.
Your re-tweets should look like this (except the messages will change!):
Then, the 10th person who re-tweets the message with #win in it gets free MusiCares® swag! We’ll contact you via Twitter Direct Messages, announce your win on Twitter so you don’t miss it, and then the contest starts all over again!
